Dr. Rita Ruple grew up in Beaumont, Texas, but has lived in Yambu, Saudi Arabia as a child and has traveled extensively including Jordan, Egypt, Hong Kong, and various European countries.
Dr. Ruple graduated from Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. After graduation from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 2006, she began her career with Parkside Animal Hospital. Dr. Ruple serves as the Medical Director for Little Orphan Angels Cat Rescue. While her main practice is small animals, she has in the past worked with exotic hoofstock (such as deer).
She enjoys fishing and computer games, horseback riding, and photography! Dr. Ruple lives in Keller with her husband Clinton and twins Noah and Eli. They share their home with 2 cats, "Ivan" and "Mango" and a miniature dachshund, "Duncan".
